Avert your eyes!

I have an unreasonable fear of dolls and their eyes.  I get the heebies from the blank stare of a doll, and I'm always certain the doll would certainly blink and/or come after my jugular.

An oversized Dora balloon with her saucer-eyes is no exception.

I didn't think my fear of doll eyes would come into play when I picked up a few mylar balloons for the Gravy Kids yesterday as "just because" gifts.

But, Dora kept turning around in the car to face forward and seeing her stare at me in my rear mirror made for a very uncomfortable drive home.

The whole ride, all I could think of was her shrill voice screaming, "Can you say 'I'm going to get you while you sleep' in Spanish?  Say it with me!"

AHHHH- she does have creepy eyes. We had a baby doll passed down to us and she had big creepy eyes-She eventually went to "camp" for the rest of her life and took the big green Waste Management truck to get there if you know what I mean!

That Dora is really super scary. Good thing you didn't grab Diego too! How did you sleep last night?

Hahahahaha! I just stumbled on to your blog and glad I did. What a hilarious post! I'd say that the pic of Dora staring right at you via the rearview mirror is def creepy! My sister has that same fear of dolls. It stems from the "scary chinadoll story." Know it?
