A great client of mine asked me to design a sign for a baby boy shower she was hosting and offering birdseed favors to guests. 

I'm all for functional favors, and her idea to hang them from a potted tree branch was so clever.  Love this idea!

"Books for baby" shower invitation

I want to share this cute little party suite I helped a friend with for a "books for baby" baby shower she's throwing:

It's complete with a sticker bookplate for guests to write a note to the baby, a bookmark party favor and an invitation with matching bookplate return address label.  Personal information has been modified for privacy.

In other news, the responses to yesterday's post about the idea for the Mr. Slim Goodbody costume sent me over the edge with major motivation to see this project through. You'll be pleased to know that I have ordered an XL unitard in NUDE to get this party started.

Whale of a tale: baby shower invitation

I'm pleased to share this recent whale theme design for a baby boy shower invitation. Produced with sand and deep sea inks, this invitation is matted to a sparkling navy cardstock.

Twin baby shower invitation: a perfect pair!

Posting pictures of my not-so-baby Griffin yesterday made me all fuzzy and nostalgic for little ones.  I have plenty of friends and family around me who have children under one year or buns in the oven that I can get my "fix" of newborns without any of the actual parental fuss.  Those sleepless nights and cranky days?  Not so fuzzy and nostalgic.

But, it was with great pleasure to recently design a special baby shower invitation for an expectant mother of twins. And the neat part: she's chosen not to find out the gender of the babies! I'm all for surprises, but when it comes two-fold with diapers, I don't know if I could have that information withheld. Kudos to her family for waiting it out.  :)

One busy summer

Shower favors... how sweet it is!

What's sweeter than bar of chocolate? One that's customized! These chocolate bar wrappers were created to wrap favors for a wedding shower and a baby shower, both personalized with 'facts' of the guests of honor.

A small step away from the classic pink and green combination, this baby girl shower invitation is designed with plum + navy inks, a favorite of the mom-to-be.

Quite the favor

In conjunction with the baby shower invitations produced for Janie and Ethan last month, we also created favor tags for their guests using the same blue/brown color motif to match.
