Conveniently unappealing

I'm a purchaser of convenience.  Grated cheese?  Check.  Pre-diced potatoes?  Check, check.

But sometimes, the line of convenience MUST be drawn, epecially after I saw these questionably funny items at the store:

A big "thanks" to my local Wal-Mart for the laughs.

I SWEAR R bought the organic spray can pancake batter last week.
I immediately thought you would post about something like it.
Though I was skeptical I agreed to make them. They were good and so totally organic (wink).

The batter may well be organic...ish, but the propellant in the can is what I would be concerned with.

The whole egg thing gets to me.
Badly. xoS

My neighbor likes the spray can pancakes but I tried them and will stick to making my own.

Hehe, I've actually had the spray can pancakes before... someone from our Tallahassee church brought that camping [which was actually clever, because there was very little clean up].

Dunno if it's just the pregnancy, but just looking at the eggs made me almost throw up.

Wow. I think the eggs gross me out the most.

Those eggs sounds disgusting...but I have actually heard really good things about the batter. I'm still not brave enough {or crazy enough} to buy it though:)

I've seen that pancake batter and pointed it out to my hubby! What the heck?! That doesn't even sound a little good!

Wow...I have seen the eggs but never the batter! That just does not sound good at all! But if I do see it I may be compelled to try it!

They are so wrong for that. Those pre-peeled eggs make me want to hurl, and you're right, anything advertised as "blaster" can't possibly be derived from nature.

LOL, my bf bought the pancake batter one day to make me pancakes. It tasted very odd, not great and we only used it that once. There is a lot of lazy food out there. Some that is practical, some not so much :)

OK, I admit that I have tried the batter. And not only did I try it, I bought the three-pack at Costco - you know, because my three-person-family is so huge. It was gross and I will never buy it again. Thanks for the laugh!
