Birth announcement: bright paisley + monogram

I'm at a point in my life where I'm enjoying other people's infants because I can gleefully give them back to their parents when they fuss.  Midnight feedings?  Don't miss 'em.  But, I am always happy to design a birth annoucement!

Here is a recent design I created for a family who wanted a traditional, non-photo birth announcement using a monogram.  I like the bright colors of clementine, seaside blue and bright pink paired slate gray ink.

Pretty in pink: baby girl birth announcement

While I'm the first to say that I love photo announcements, I really enjoyed the simplicity of this latest custom baby girl birth announcement.  Featured on white textured paper with chocolate and cotton candy inks, it's matted to a shimmering pink lollipop cardstock.  Simple.  Pink.  Pretty!

Sugar and spice and everything nice!

Welcome, babies Francesca and Grace. Francesca's parents loved Persian blue mixed with dusty rose, while Grace's family preferred meadow green and bright pink. We also had the privilege to photograph Grace for her announcement (any excuse to visit a newborn is a great excuse).

One busy summer

Its sure been a while since we've updated. But that's not to say that it's been a quiet summer. In fact, its been quite busy! Between shower invitations, birth announcements, birthday invitations and complete wedding design suites, we've been having a great time offering custom design.

Winter baby blue

We were delighted to create the birth announcement for another sweet newborn: Aeson. His birth announcement utilizes the popular chocolate+blue color motif and is finished with a soft blue ribbon at the top. And, while not very visible from the photo above, the top portion of his announcement has a very subtle hanging snowflakes graphic - a perfect welcome for a new winter little one.

Fit to be tied

After designing her mother's baby shower invitations several months ago, we were so honored to create little Leigh's birth announcements when she finally arrived. Using a chocolate brown and pink motif, we wrapped Leigh's photo with a pink polka dotted ribbon and included a tag to showcase her birthday and stats.
