One hot winter

We have a pellet stove that heats the majority of our house and keeps things roasty-toasty warm.

My New England-bred husband doesn't believe in artificially warming the house until the interior dips into the low 60s.  My own California upbringing says, "anything under 72 degress deserves the heat on."  Yes, yes...our heating bill is generally astronomical.

And according to how my kids have been dressing themselves while indoors (i.e., Griffin's muscle tee this past weekend), perhaps I'm keeping it a little too warm.

Even though there's no such thing as "too warm" in my book.  I love muscle tees.

ha! too funny! You would die here, we keep it at 68 during the day and 66 at night- though now that I think about it, more heat equals less clothes... I need to rethink my heating strategy ;o)

hugs! Kim @ Party Frosting!

I agree with your husband. We try to keep the heat pretty low. You can always put on a sweater or cover up in a blanket.

This reminds me of my own (Vermont bred) husband who says there is no such thing as not warm enough - there's only not enough clothes!

Haha, I have the exact same limit... the house should never fall below 72 degrees. My hubs thinks that I should layer up, which seems silly in the comfort of my own home.

Eli and I would get along great when it comes to heat! I keep our really low...and I love it colder vs. warmer. I can't stand it when it is too high when I sleep!

I am going to email you today!

Oh no...you would never survive at my house. We always have it much cooler and dress in layers. I'd rather be cooler than hotter. My friend that comes over always brings a sweater!

Now I know why you always keep your coat on in my house! We keep it at 64 tops! 60 at night!
